🌱 Famous Anthony's Bankruptcy + Woman Killed In SE Roanoke

Here are the top two stories in Roanoke today:

  1. Two Famous Anthony's restaurants have filed for bankruptcy in the wake of the hepatitis outbreak last year. The outbreak was first reported in November of last year, leading to the restaurants shutting down for a period of time. The chapter 11 bankruptcy filing followed the outbreak, which led to four deaths and several more infections. (WDBJ7)
  2. Police are searching for a suspect responsible for the death of a woman in southeast Roanoke. Early Monday morning, police arrived at 3500 block of Yellow Mountain Road SE and found a woman lying outside of the home. She was pronounced dead on the scene. Her name and information has not yet been released and there is been no arrest in the investigation. (WDBJ7)
