- Virginia health leaders announced yesterday they are offering grants to organizations seeking to help expand COVID-19 vaccine access in the Roanoke area. The Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts outlined a new grant program for organizations to help with education and outreach, improving accessibility, and strategies to eliminate barriers. - Get squeaky clean with bath bombs, homemade soaps, and more at a new local shop. Buff City Soap's new shop is located within Towers Shopping Center. (WSLS 10)
- Deschutes will be closing its doors in downtown Roanoke by the end of the year.
The brewery announced that it will not be renewing its lease off of the Roanoke City Market, citing a dip in business due to the pandemic.
