The Historical Society of Western Virginia and Mill Mountain Theatre are collaborating on a unique production based on the current exhibit at the Historical Society – Botetourt County: 250+1 Years of Delights. This production, called the Botetourt Project, will be a fun mix between performance and tour, and will take place at the Historical Society of Western Virginia (101 Shenandoah Ave NE, Roanoke 24016) on Oct. 23 and Oct. 30. There will be four performance times, 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. each Saturday. Admission is $6 for Historical Society of Western Virginia members and $8 for non-members. Space is limited, so we are asking visitors to reserve tickets prior to the performances. To reserve tickets, individuals can either call the museum at 540.982.5465, email Ashley Webb at curator@vahistorymuseum.org, or purchase tickets online for their preferred date and time at www.roanokehistory.org. The exhibit is in partnership with the Bank of Botetourt, while the performances are sponsored by both the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. The exhibit will run through Nov. 2.
