  1. Celebrate this holiday season with a peaceful bike ride through the city of Roanoke on Wednesday, Dec. 8, for the 2021 Holiday Lights Tour. The tour begins at the Roanoke Co+op and finishes at Cardinal Bicycle where hot chocolate and smores will be provided. The bike tour will start at 6 p.m.with hot chocolate and smores from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (WSLS 10)
  2. The Virginia Department of Health recently announced its partnership with 18 libraries and library systems across Virginia to distribute free COVID-19 rapid antigen at-home test kits. Roanoke Public Libraries is among the participating libraries. Branches will distribute the kits from now through the pilot program deadline of Dec. 31. (Press Release Desk )
  3. Seven-year-old Judah Clements has taken the phrase, "when life gives you lemons" to a new level. He created Judah Bug Lemonade which has now grown into an entire operation. Judah's lemonade can be found in businesses such as Elderberry's in Roanoke. This past Wednesday night, Judah and his team stopped by Angels of Assisi for the second straight year to drop off a gift of $1,300. (WDBJ7)
