Here are the top stories in Roanoke today:

  1. Carol and Julian Tinsley, who were injured in an Oct. 6 southwest Roanoke house fire, have died of their injuries. The two-alarm house fire in the 2200 block of Westover Avenue SW sent the home's four residents to the hospital. The Roanoke Fire Marshal's Office determined the fire was electrical and accidental.   2. Local police are seeking information on a shooting in northwest Roanoke on Sunday night. Authorities were called about a man with a gunshot wound in the 3700 block of Rolling Hill Avenue NW. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one has been arrested yet, but police urge anyone with information to contact them. (WDBJ7)
  3. The City of Roanoke will be holding a virtual public meeting and workshop on completing the HUD funding application on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021. (Press Release Desk)
