Here are the top stories in Roanoke today:

  1. The Roanoke Public Library has run out of free COVID-19 tests. As demand grows the library has been unable to compete with the demand for the tests. The library will update the community once it has more testing kits available. (WDBJ7)
  2. A Roanoke advocacy is looking to raise money to fund a statue of Henrietta Lacks. After her death, Lacks' body and cells were used in studies that led to medical breakthroughs about vaccines.
