Here are the top three stories today in Roanoke:
- Angels of Assisi will be hosting a low-cost Pet Health Fair. The event will enable pet owners to access affordable veterinary care for their animals. The Pet Health Fair will take place on Apr.23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Berglund Center. (Roanoker)
- One of country music's most famous duos, Brothers Osborne, will be coming to Roanoke's Elmwood Park this summer. The performance is part of the Budweiser Summer Series. Brothers Osborne won its first Grammy for Best Country Duo or Group Performance this past Sunday night. Tickets will start at $49 with sales beginning Apr. 7. (WSLS 10)
- Lindsey Ward was recently announced as Blue Ridge Women's Center's new Development Director. She will be replacing Terrie Benjamin. Ward will be tasked with supporting the center's mission of providing free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and parenting classes for residents in the Roanoke area.
