🌱 Night to Remember Gala + Roanoke Restaurant Week Returns

Here are the top three stories in Roanoke today:
- The Calfee Community & Cultural Center in Pulaski has announced the date of its Night to Remember gala. The gala seeks to bring awareness to local Black history during Black History Month. If you'll be in the Pulaski area on Feb. 26, check out the event at Omni Place. Proceeds will benefit the community center. (WDBJ7)
- A fundraising campaign is hoping to attract new and high-paying employers to the Roanoke region. The campaign has a $3.6 million goal and the funds will be spent over the next five years. The Thrive 2027 fundraiser has already raised $2.8 million towards its goal before entering the current public phase of the program. (WFIR News Talk Radio)
- After last year's success, the Roanoke County Economic Development announced its 2022 Roanoke County Restaurant Week program. Last year, 24 local eateries were recruited for the program. Prospective restaurants can submit applications to be featured in the program by sharing photos of their dishes on social media using the appropriate photo tag. (Press Release Desk )
