Here are the top stories in Roanoke today:
- Roanoke City looking to buy and demolish a decades-old Ramada Inn. Thanks to a grant from FEMA, the city will get roughly $3.5 million dollars to purchase the property and will have to cover about $1 million more to remove it. (WSLS 10)
- Is your car suddenly making a loud, harsh, throaty noise? If so, it might be because someone has stolen your catalytic converter. While it might seem like a wild thing to happen to you, hundreds have been stolen across the Roanoke Valley. (WSLS 10)
- A man was found with a non-critical gunshot wound Tuesday afternoon outside a home in the 1300 block of Rorer Avenue SW. (WDBJ7)
- A new musical is coming to Roanoke this winter. "Blippi The Musical" is coming to the Berglund Center on Feb. 17. (WSET)
