Roanoke County Government: Road Closure (8/17/21): Branico Drive (Route 763) For Bridge Work

VDOT is planning to close Branico Drive (Route 763) near its intersection with Cotton Hill Road on Tuesday, August 17th, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. to replace an existing bridge with a new concrete slab.  A pedestrian bridge will be installed for residents to cross the creek while bridge construction is underway.  Flagging operations for traffic may be in place on the 16th, 18th and 19th as work continues.  

Fire and Rescue will stage apparatus on the upstream/closed side of the construction site.  Solid waste will be collected prior to 8 a.m. and school buses pick up at the intersection of Branico Drive and Cotton Hill Road, outside of the project limits.
