- A traffic stop turned into a surprise for a Roanoke Police Department officer. A Roanoke mother was going into labor and was being rushed to the hospital by her husband. Roanoke Fire-EMS was called to the incident and the baby was delivered by Paramedic Francisco. The mother and father are now proud parents of a baby girl. Congratulations! (WSET)
- Child Health Investment Partnership (CHIP) is working to connect mothers with baby formula during ongoing supply issues. A baby formula recall coupled with a shortage has caused baby formula difficult to find.
