1. Skechers will be opening a new store at Roanoke County's Tanglewood Mall. The announcement was made by the Roanoke County Economic Development Department. Skechers is the third largest athletic shoe brand in the world. (WDBJ)
2. The Roanoke Police Department rescued seven ducklings from a storm drain. The ducklings were rescued on Colonial Green Circle Monday morning. The department took the ducklings to a local wildlife rehabilitation facility to receive the care they needed. (WSET)
3. A group of Roanoke County students has been named among the top 50 finalists in the VANS Custom Culture Contest.
