  1. In honor of National STEM Day Monday, some Roanoke classrooms will receive a surprise donation. UScellular will provide a donation of $5,200 for six K-12 classroom projects in the Roanoke area that focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math. With this funding, the company hopes to provide critical STEM tools and resources to K-12 students in the local community. (WSLS 10)
  2. Explore Park is asking for volunteers needed for its Illuminights event this holiday season starting on Nov. 20. Officials say some of the volunteer jobs include a marshmallow roasting attendant, a trail monitoring attendant, and various outdoor jobs. (WSLS 10)
  3. A crash in Roanoke County along 581N at mile marker six left lanes temporarily closed yesterday evening. (WDBJ7)
