Here are the top stories in Roanoke today:

  1. Some northeast Roanoke City residents had trouble with their water service on Thursday as crews worked to repair a water main break. Crews responded to a 12-inch water line in the 2000 block of Tinker Drive NE around 6 a.m. 20th Street between Templeton Avenue/Manning Road NE and Mason Mill Road NE was also closed for most of the day due to repair work.   2. A Roanoke County woman who contracted hepatitis A from Famous Anthony's is finally home after spending two months in the hospital. Friends and family lined the parking lot of Back Creek Elementary School Wednesday night to welcome Patrice Dalton home. Dalton had received a liver transplant as part of her treatment. (WSLS 10)
  3. A Roanoke College poll shows that Virginians are divided on vaccinations and mask-wearing, especially among political party lines. (WSET)
  4. To honor World AIDS Day and the lives lost to AIDS, candles were lit during a Dec. 1 service at Greene Memorial United Methodist Church in Roanoke. (WSLS 10)
