Dick's Sporting Goods to Introduce New Women's Brand in Tysons Corner
The new brand, Chelsea Collective, will 'fuse fashion and fitness' with a number of popular brands.

National athletic and apparel chain Dick’s Sporting Goods is launching a new female-focused brand, Chelsea Collective, in Tysons Corner, reports the Washington Business Journal.
Chelsea Collective will fill the void left by the former Sony store, which closed in 2014, on the second level of the prominent shopping mall. The WBJ reports the Tysons location will open in August, and that another location in Pittsburgh is also in the works.
The Chelsea Collective website calls itself “a first-of-its-kind women’s fitness boutique, fusing fashion and fitness like never before.”

Dick’s new female-oriented brand comes less than one year after rival apparel and equipment chain Under Armour introduced its “Womanifesto” to cater to female athletes.
