• Mural brightens entrance at Staunton Augusta Waynesboro Animal Shelter (newsleader.com) — Visitors to the Staunton Augusta Waynesboro Animal Shelter’s new Verona location are now greeted by a bright, animal-filled mural created by Waynesboro artist Ellen Morris. Painted using a mix of photos from staff and VR-assisted design, the artwork connects the old Lyndhurst shelter to the new Verona facility with a welcoming, colorful lobby centerpiece. 
• The Technology Student Association holds regional spring fair (newsleader.com) — A regional Technology Student Association spring fair at Stuarts Draft High School drew nearly 300 attendees, fueled in part by support from Verona businesses and clubs. Free lunches from Verona’s Rack’em Smack’em Ribs and donations from Verona Moose and others also helped raise over $1,000 for the Red Cross.
