Armed Robber Sought In Vienna: Police
Vienna Police and a helicopter searched for the suspect after the attempted robbery Sunday.
VIENNA, VA—Vienna Police are seeking a suspect after an attempted armed robbery Sunday, April 28.
The incident happened around 5:45 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank, 212 Maple Avenue East. Police say a person was trying to withdraw money from an ATM when a man with gun approached. The suspect left the area without taking any money.
Officers, the Fairfax County Police helicopter and a K-9 unit searched the area without success. The suspect was described as a black man in his early 20s around 6 foot 1 and wearing all dark clothing.
