Caboose Brewing’s Ctrl Alt Delete Altbier Wins National Silver Medal

VIENNA, VA — Caboose Brewing Company earned a silver medal at the 2026 U.S. Open Beer Championship for its Ctrl Alt Delete Altbier, the Vienna-based brewery announced.

The German-style ale was honored in a competition featuring entries from breweries across the United States.

“We’re incredibly proud to see Ctrl Alt Delete recognized on a national stage,” Hector Meier, Caboose’s director of brewery operations, said in a statement. “It’s a testament to our brewing team’s dedication to crafting exceptional beer.”

Ctrl Alt Delete Altbier is available on tap at Caboose Tavern in Vienna and Caboose Commons in Fairfax County’s Mosaic District.
