
Fall for the Book presents author discussions and a publishing panel in their annual spring mini fest
Join local literary organization Fall for the Book for a mini festival at George Mason University!
In the Reading Room of Fenwick Library, attendees can enjoy a day of discussion as authors Grady Chambers (Great Disasters), Michael Regina (Deepwater Creek), Ziying You (Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Chinese and Chinese American Women), and A. Kendra Greene (No Less Strange or Wonderful) share their work. Bards Alley will have copies of each author's book available for purchase and signings.
The festival also features a discussion about contemporary publishing with Emily Holland, executive editor of Poet Lore; Pari Sabti, poetry editor of So to Speak; and Bex Pachl, nonfiction editor of So to Speak and a representative of Stillhouse Press and Inner Loop.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Grady Chambers is the author of the poetry collection North American Stadiums (Milkweed Editions, 2018), winner of the Max Ritvo Poetry Prize. Grady was born and raised on the north side of Chicago, and lives in Philadelphia. His writing can be found in The Atlantic, The Paris Review, American Poetry Review, The Sun, and many other publications. Grady is a former Wallace Stegner Fellow, and received his MFA in Creative Writing from Syracuse University.
Michael Regina has been drawing comics since the third grade, and his passion for art and storytelling has stayed with him his whole life. He studied painting and drawing at the University of North Florida and minored in literature. Michael is also the creator of the Webtoons Featured Comic Adamsville. When he's not making comics, he loves fishing, begrudgingly rooting for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and spending time with his family. They all live in Jacksonville, Florida.
Ziying You is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and Intercultural Studies at the University of Georgia. She is the author of Folk Literati, Contested Tradition, and Heritage in Contemporary China: Incense Is Kept Burning and editor (with Lijun Zhang) of Chinese Folklore Studies Today: Discourse and Practice.
A. Kendra Greene is a writer and book artist. She is the author and illustrator of The Museum of Whales You Will Never See. Her work has come into being with fellowships from Fulbright, MacDowell, Yaddo, Dobie Paisano, and the Library Innovation Lab at Harvard.
