Driver Trapped In Deep Flood Waters Rescued In Vienna
A driver was rescued after her car got stuck in some deep flood waters in Vienna.

A day of heavy rain resulted in flooding and prompted rescues of stranded drivers Saturday. One of these was a driver stuck in deep flood waters in Vienna.
The car got stuck in floodwaters at Browns Mill Road and Rosewood Hill Drive, which is located near a creek. The driver was rescued Saturday night, but the car remained at the scene until a tow truck could take it Sunday.
The driver's family told Fox5 she had to hang on trees to get out of the car. She had been directed toward the intersection because of another road closure when she encountered the floodwaters.

The road was one of several closed for extended time due to floodwaters or downed trees and power lines. Authorities urged drivers to turn around rather than driving through standing water.
