Atrium is an alternative rock group based in Northern Virginia. Fully formed in mid 2011, Atrium is the result of the combination of two former local bands. The band consists of bassist and vocalist Emily Allen, guitarist and vocalist Paul Ward, guitarist Chris Suter, and drummer Taylor Stalfort. Working with producer David Pavluk, the band recently finished recording their debut EP, Post Script. The album marks a transitional point with the band, both with their personal growth and in their music. Self described as "Xtremo," Post Script fuses dark, distorted instrumentals with bright melodies and meaningful lyrics to create an EP that really resonates with listeners. Gaining in support, Atrium is a progressive rock band that's proving it has something to say with a powerful sound to accompany.
