AUDITIONS FOR THE ADVENT PROJECT, 2012-2013 Season
Auditions are now being scheduled for The Advent Project. The next concert will be on 11/11/2012 at Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC) Catholic Church in Vienna, near Tysons Corner. The program includes Pizzetti's Requiem, Bach's Komm Jesu Komm (BWV 229), and Howells' Requiem. Stipended (limited number) and non-stipended positions in all voice parts are available. Auditions are by appointment on Monday evenings in July and August. In June 2013, The Advent Project will perform Bach's Magnificat (BWV 243) with orchestra.
We are a friendly, artistically ambitious, and high achieving group with a wide range of age and vocational backgrounds, looking to increase our numbers in all sections. Most rehearsals for the November concert are on Sunday evenings beginning 9/9 at OLGC, 8601 Wolftrap Rd, Vienna, VA 22182.
