BaH Presents: A Mid(winter) Night's Dream

This Saturday and Sunday, the Viennna-based "BaH" Shakespeare Theatrical Troupe will present "A Mid(winter) Night's Dream, written by William Shakespeare, modified and directed by Arielle Seidman.

The story itself is a hilarious and captivating dream-like fantasy, in which four young and naive lovers run off for a complicated tryst in the woods against the wishes of their overbearing parents. While lost in the woods, they encounter the two sides of the feuding fairy court, and the subsequent muddle of romance and error makes for an unforgettable evening of theater!

This production is safe and appropriate for families with children, and might be a great way to introduce your family to one of the most well-loved contributors to theatrical literature! We especially encourage the attendance of middle and high school students who are currently working through classes or lessons in Shakespeare! Think how excited your teacher will be when you tell them you did this. (It was a while ago, but I've been there too, trust me. This goes over really well with teachers.)

BaH is a young theater group, founded just two years ago in 2010. We pride ourselves on the unique and unexpected lense through which we see the bard's work, and on the genderblind and color-blind casting choices that allow us to open up performance opportunities for any and all interested participants.

Two performances will take place:
