Advent – Xmas a cappella project- Vienna, VA:
Small a cappella group seeks singers for concert on 11 December in Vienna, Va at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Repertoire will include works by Palestrina, Schütz, Schein, Eccard, Howells, Thompson, some Gregorian chant, and the “O” Antiphons by Colorado composer R. Anthony Lee. Rehearsals begin September 25. The group is led by Richard Allen Roe, a former pupil of Helmuth Rilling and member of the Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart.
