Everything Falls CD/Video Release + TheRuinCity + Laws of Average + Matt Hutchison

Embarking on a musical career is no simple endeavor, and Tennessee native Aaron Linkous is no stranger to the adversities of the music business. Prior to his arrival in the Mid-Atlantic region, the Everything Falls frontman completed his degree in Recording Industry and learned the ropes at two fast-paced Nashville recording studios. It was there in Music City, that he honed his skills as a singer/songwriter.In 2010, Linkous relocated to the DC-MD-VA area where he soon met current bassist, Mike Smith. Together, Smith and Linkous began a diligent search for additional musicians. After multiple rounds of auditions in 2011, the duo gladly welcomed Jeff Sauber on drums and Gabe Goodin on lead guitar. Everything Falls was finally formed. Influenced by (1) the intricate, powerful riffs of such bands as Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Three Days Grace and Metallica, and (2) the lyrical sentiments of bands like 3 Doors Down and Theory of a Deadman, Everything Falls delivers a hard-hitting combination of dynamic melodies and gripping lyrics. Deemed "polished" and "radio-friendly" by Northern Virginia Magazine, Everything Falls is poised to become a front-runner in the regional rock music scene.

THERUINCITY
Located throughout the Washington DC area, TheRuinCity is a five-piece pop rock band strongly influenced by bands such as Augustana, The Fray, Switchfoot and Copeland. Founded and led by the writing styles of lead singer Mike Daknis and rhythm guitar player David Hoppel, TheRuinCity prides themselves in creating music with a positive message of hope. With David's little brother Josh on the lead guitar, and Kyle O'Keefe and Dillon Knighton playing bass and drums respectively, their band consists of long-term relationships and new friendships alike. Their first self-titled EP was released on iTunes September 4th, with all proceeds going to benefit a non-profit called Love146, which helps rehabilitate the victims of child sex trafficking. Their mission coincides with TheRuinCity's desire to use their music for a purpose greater than themselves. Their love of music, each other, and just having a good time results in a show filled with energy and passion. They are currently playing shows all around the DC area and working on writing new songs in hopes of releasing another EP or full length within the next year.

LAWS OF AVERAGE
The story began when Brett and Johnson met each other in high school. They started collaborating musically and, after a brief separation during college, Jonson and Brett joined back up and formed "Ink 2 Blood." The group performed locally in Charleston until 2005 when Brett needed to relocate to Virginia for a job opportunity. After that the band members lost touch with one another. As fate would have it however, in 2009 Johnson moved to the same city Brett was living in. They started performing live acoustic sets of "Ink 2 Blood" songs on the DC rock scene and worked feverishly on new material. With their creative passion rekindled, they called in a favor from their old friend Josh to play bass and connected with a new drummer Michael to form Laws of Average (LOA)...

MATT HUTCHISON
From the beginning, Matt has been inspired by rock greats like The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks, Radiohead, and American greats Paul Simon and Buddy Holly. His approach to songwriting is cut from the same cloth that produced the catalog of these artists. Prolific and groundbreaking in their own ways, each of them built their musical empires on a foundation deeply rooted in the popular music that came before them. In this way, Matt Hutchison's music sounds instantly familiar, but equally new and engaging.Matt Hutchison has had the privilege of sharing the stage with many national and regional acts including Bon Jovi, the Gin Blossoms, Live, Sister Hazel, The Knack, Carbonleaf, Graham Colton, Violent Femmes, Cowboy Mouth, The Roots, Spin Doctors, Pat McGee, Ozomatli, Nine Days, Rhett Miller, Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, and the Presidents of the United States of America.
