The Evolution Sunset 5k Run and Jack's 1 mile Fun Run/Walk is held on Saturday evening during Viva Vienna's Festival over Memorial Day Weekend. It is a fun event with an off road twist taking runners into Northside and Eudora Parks before returning back to the finish on the W&OD trail.
The event raises money for CureSearch, a children's cancer research organization. The race started in 2011 in honor of baby Jack Gorkowski who was born with a rare abdominal cancer.
