Los Angeles-based quartet Infantree cites American grunge band Nirvana and classic rock as some of its hodgepodge of musical influences. The band has made waves since releasing its debut album, Would Work, in 2010. Now, the group is slated to open this fall for legendary Neil Young and Crazy Horse on a handful of stops on the band's U.S.-Canadian tour. All four members play a variety of instruments, everything from piano and drums to the distinctive banjo. Comprised of four young men in their early 20s, Infantree's infantry come from extremely diverse ethnic backgrounds: Iranian, American, Canadian, Israeli, Russian, German and Tahitian. It's a mix just as diverse as the band's music. Infantree is currently celebrating the release of its sophomore album, Hero's Dose, which dropped on June 26.
