LIGHTSPEED RESCUE
LSR infects their audiences with their original blend of alternative hip hop, incorporating thick beats, huge hooks, jazzy harmony, heavy riffs, and funky sounds, so you just can't help but dance, plus they create a positive environment where everyone feels comfortable having fun and being themselves. The group draws heavily from their influences, such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Outkast, but the talents and individual styles of each unique band member define the basis of LSR's sound.LSR has raised over $1,800 for a cancer benefit concert, won multiple local battle of the bands, and worked with professional producer/engineer Chris Salamone to record their debut EP entitled Celebration which was released on May 21st, 2011. Look out for LSR as Summer 2012 rolls around, and be sure to check out one of their many performances, including an opening spot for national act The Ready Set at the Loudoun Youthfest. The future is beginning to look very bright for Lightspeed Rescue.

WESTERN AFFAIRS
Western Affairs is a 3 piece experimental pop group based in Washington, DC. Originally formed by Alex Lee, today, Western Affairs includes Davis Connors and Andrew Monborne. With it strong vocal presence, luscious synth lines, dreamy guitar, and powerful drums, Western Affairs can be described as spacious and panoramic.

FLUX 180
During 2007 while working his blue-collar job at a storage facility, lyricist Carey "Bamboo" Boyd briefly saw a vision on a wall of himself on a galactic stage with a charismatic group of individuals whose focus was to create Futuristic Lyrics Unique to Xenoglossics. Motivated by the revelation, he then moved to pull together six of the DMVs acclaimed musicians to form FLUX180. With real life lyrics and exclusive musical composition, FLUX180 is a band with an eloquent resonance dedicated to saving and uplifting the people one lyric, one melody, one beat, and one song at a time.

A fresh rock reggae groove is flowing out of DC and its name is DZD. Their lyrics tastefully depict scenarios, relationships, dreams, failures, and people that have influenced and inspired them. Their high energy live shows frequently feature hip-hop collaborations, multi-part vocal harmonies, and attention grabbing solos from guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and harmonica. DZD pride themselves on "pushin the weird" and "bringing up the vibe" whether it be on stage, in your backyard, or in your bedroom.
