Native Run Summer Revival + Norman Rockwell + Matt Duke

Native Run is Rachel Beauregard, Bryan Dawley, and Luke Brindley. They formed in the music venue Jammin Java in their native Virginia one fateful afternoon at the suggestion of mutual friends. After playing for a few hours in a little practice room, magic started exploding everywhere, and they felt like they'd just found another planet! They immediately went to the booker for Jammin Java (who eventually became their manager) and said, "Please book our CD release show at your earliest convenience," to which he replied, "Do you have a CD?". They did not. They booked a show anyway. That was only two years ago, and the rest is history.

Though a young band, they're no rookies to the stage. Native Run can be seen at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, and Paste Magazine called Native Run "The Best of What's Next." Collectively, they bring to bear influences from Shakespeare to Springsteen, and from Patsy Cline to Keith Urban.

NORMAN ROCKWELL
Norman Rockwell is a group based from used car garages, open mic nights, late night epiphanies, instant gratification, make'a'livin jobs, and a desire for clean tone.

MATT DUKE
Matt Duke's impressionistic lyrics - delivered in a pure tenor that cuts straight to the bone -- shine bright, particularly throughout the edgy "Kangaroo Court" and on the guitar-driven "Needle and Thread," in which Duke assumes the role of the troubadour yearning to find "open arms at the bar for the prodigal son that often goes astray." Such quests make up the heart and soul of One Day Die - an album which finds Duke asking questions of himself and which grabs listeners by the lapels and shakes them into a similar frame of mind. Duke has been to a lot of places since he began his musical career. Writing and performing around South Jersey and Philadelphia while in high school helped him win the respect of soon-to-be-collaborators like Marshall Crenshaw, Suzzy Roche and Dylan sidemanDavid Mansfield.
