Artist Block is a monthly opportunity for the community to come out and view local art as well as enjoy a discussion led by the artist about their work an process.
Tuesday, February 26th from 7:00-9:00 pm is the Penny University premier of ARTIST BLOCK highlighting local artist Jeff Duka. The ARTIST TALK will begin at 7:30.

Jeff is a working artist currently residing in Reston, VA. He is accomplished in everything from realistic landscapes to faux finishing. The exhibit on display will focus will be focused on his current encaustic paintings.
Not sure what “encaustic” painting entails? Let's just say that encaustic painting is one of the oldest known techniques....and Jeff makes all of his own materials! He'll discuss his techniques and answer all of your questions.
Jeffs work will be on sale at CAFFE AMOURI with 20% of the proceeds going to the SHEPHERD CENTER OF OAKTON as part of our "GET SOCIAL" month of activities.
