Sing Me Insomnia + Burnham + Late Night Habit

Brothers, Jared and Marshall Cunningham, spent the majority of their young teenage years playing music separately. Each with a slightly different vision and direction for their music, they never gave collaborating with each other a fair shot. As they ventured through more and more failed and directionless music projects, they knew something was missing. They found what was missing when they eventually decided to join forces and create a band together. With Marshall's passion for pop anthems, and Jared's strong compositional skills, Sing Me Insomnia (SMI) began. The band was completed with their friends - Wes Beale and Jordan DePriest.

In August 2008, SMI entered the Mid-Atlantic Battle of the Bands (hosted by Jammin Java), facing bands from all over the region. Despite being the youngest group in the competition (members all younger than 18), SMI swept the opposing bands, winning first place. They didn't stop there. Putting their prize money to good use, they entered into the studio with a batch of infectious pop-rock tunes, and produced a six song EP with upcoming Northern Virginia producer, David Pavluk of The Downtown Fiction (Photo Finish/Atlantic Records). On February 16th, 2010, the first day of their debut, self-titled EP's release, Sing Me Insomnia began to create a huge buzz within the music scene - the album debuting at number 27 on the iTunes' alternative charts - all feats achieved as an unsigned act.

With a well-received EP, five consecutive sold-out headlining hometown shows at Northern Virginia's most popular venue (Jammin Java), and a large online following, Sing Me Insomnia geared up to release their follow-up EP, entitled "No Time to Waste", produced by Paul Barber (Steve Moakler, Action Item, My Favorite Highway) on March 1st, 2011. The EP dropped with a huge first week, debuting in the top 100 of iTunes top albums chart. It also allowed SMI to make their Billboard debut, ranking 9th on Billboard's South Atlantic Heatseeker's Chart. SMI has released their newest single, "Miss Me Now" - a huge, anthemic showstopper that's heavy enough to please any rocker, and with a gritty pop edge that will appeal to the masses. Those "oh oh ohs" won't be getting out of your head any time soon.

BURNHAM
Alex, Andre and Forrest Burnham have been performing together for seven years, which is pretty remarkable because the three brothers from Vermont are, respectively, just 19, 18 and 15. After almost five years of performing live, a friend hooked them up with NY based producers, Freddy Shehadi and Andy Marvel, who signed them to their production Company, Headspinners, developed their demo package, and set-up several showcases with various major record labels. With two major record deals on the table, the boys did one final showcase in New York for Island Def Jam chairman and CEO Antonio "L.A." Reid. The veteran record exec wouldn't let the band leave the room until he signed them, not even after youngest member Forrest beat him at pool. Burnham has crafted a debut album filled with catchy rock/pop anthems.Their Island Def Jam debut album represents their first time co-writing with such established producers as OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, Brian Kennedy (Chris Brown, Rihanna, Backstreet Boys, Jesse McCartney), the N.Y.-based Norwegian production team Espionage of Espen Lind and Amund Bjorklund (Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" and Beyonce's "Irreplaceable"), Andy Marvel (Jessica Simpson, Celine Dion)/ Freddy Shehadi of Headspinners, and James Bourne of Busted ("Year 3000"). With their good-natured sibling rivalry, each of the three Burnhams bring something a little different to the table. Alex is the designated riff-meister and Forrest is great at finding melodies, while Andre, also known as M.D.(music director), organizes the rehearsals and comes up with lyrical ideas. With the release of their debut album, Burnham is ready to take the next step. It certainly won't be the last.
