False Alarm Prompts Theater Evacuation In Fairfax Corner: Police
Police say people got panicked and exited the theater Sunday night.

FAIRFAX, VA—The evacuation of a Fairfax Corner theater Sunday night has been a false alarm, Fairfax County Police say.
Officers responded to the Cinemark at Fairfax Corner around 9 p.m. Sunday. People appeared to be rushing out of the theater in a panic.
It turned out that two people got into an argument over a cell phone ringing in the theater. Someone called security, leading to the evacuation and a heavy police presence. There was no threat to public safety, police say.

Getting a panicked phone call from your 14 year old that the Fairfax Corner movie theater has people running out yelling “call the cops” is not the call you ever want. Cops everywhere. Home safely. Deep sighs. @FairfaxCornerVA @FairfaxCountyPD
