Police: Gun-Toting Suspect Robs 7-Eleven Friday

Store is located at 1931 Old Gallows Road in the Vienna area of the county.

Fairfax County Crime Solvers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who police say robbed the employees of a 7-Eleven store, located at 1931 Old Gallows Road, in the Vienna area, according to a news release from police.

Around 4:45 a.m. today, the man entered the store and approached an employee at the register, according to police. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded cash, police said. The victim complied and the suspect fled the store.

Police say the suspect was described as black, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and more than 200 pounds. He had a light complexion, a goatee and sunglasses. He was wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt, faded blue jeans and black gloves. Detectives have obtained surveillance photos (above) of the suspect and are hopeful someone will recognize him.
