Firefighters Find Chantilly Mobile Home Engulfed In Flames: VIDEO

Fairfax County firefighters responded to a mobile home fire that was threatening neighboring homes early on April 24.

VIENNA, VA – Fairfax County firefighters found a mobile home in Chantilly fully engulfed in flames in the early hours of April 24, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue reports.

According to firefighters, they arrived at the 14500 block of Trans World Avenue in Chantilly just after 1 a.m. to find a mobile home fully overtaken by fire, with flames licking nearby homes. Crews responded with help from Loudoun County Fire and Rescue and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Fire and Emergency Services.

The fire was controlled, all the home’s occupants were accounted for and no civilian or firefighter injuries were reported.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.

This was the second fire the county fire service reported responding to on the night of April 23-24.
