Funeral Set For Vienna Football Coach Lenny Schultz
Visitation and funeral services have been set for Lenny Schultz, the beloved Vienna teacher and coach killed in a Beltway accident.

VIENNA, VA — A funeral has been set for Lenny Schultz, a Vienna varsity football coach and special education teacher. Schultz was killed in a box truck accident on the Capital Beltway in Springfield June 24.
Visitation will be Friday, June 30 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. and 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Vienna Presbyterian Church (124 Park St NE, Vienna). A funeral service will be Saturday, July 1 at 10 a.m. at Vienna Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow. Interment will be private.
Due to parking limitations, buses will run from Madison High School to the church at door 11 of the main gym from 9 a.m.-10:15 a.m. After the service buses will run through 1:30 p.m.

Schultz is survived by his wife Charissa and her daughters Addisan, Roberta and Michala, mother Idith, children, Benjamin and Holly Schultz. He is also survived by several siblings and nephews and nieces. His nephew Albert was with Lenny during the accident and was hospitalized. The two were struck by the box struck while trying to secure the boat on the back of their truck.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a scholarship fund created in Schultz's name.
Born in Philadelphia, Schultz moved to Vienna in 1981 and attended Madison. He graduated from Madison in 1983 and was inducted into the school's athletic hall of fame for playing football and wrestling. Schultz was the varsity coach of the Madison football team since 2011, as well as a special education teacher.
