Gas Station Armed Robbery Suspect Strikes Again -- Hits 9th Location
This time it was a Sunoco station Thursday afternoon in the Vienna area of Fairfax County. The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward.

VIENNA, VA — Fairfax County Police say a suspect in a string of gas station convenience store armed robberies has struck again.
This time, the suspect — who displays a handgun during the mostly daylight robberies that have taken place the past four weeks in the region — hit a Sunoco gas station at 2210 Gallows Road Thursday at around 4 p.m., according to Fairfax County Police.

Fairfax County Police detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect. Police say an employee of the gas station reported that a man entered the store, loitered for a short time and left. He returned, produced a handgun and demanded money, according to police. The clerk complied and the suspect fled. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as white, between 30-35 years old, around 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs between 160-180 pounds. He has a beard. He wore a black shirt and white pants, police said.

The suspect has worn a blue baseball hat with the logo “Jim McKay Maryland Million Day, October 18, 2014 - Laurel Park.”
Detectives believe this robbery is linked to a series of similar cases being jointly investigated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other local law enforcement.
The armed robbery dates and places are:
- Sunday, Nov. 15 at 11:48 am: Exxon Gas located at 8715 Lee Highway, Fairfax
- Thursday, Nov. 19 at 11:34 am: Shell Gas located at 5630 North Lee Highway, Arlington
- Monday, Nov. 23 at 12:05 pm: Valero Gas located at 5516 Mudd Tavern Road, Woodford, VA
- Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 11:24 am: Mobil Gas located at 10800 Fairfax Boulevard, Fairfax
- Friday, Nov. 27 at 11:55 am: Exxon Gas located at 3535 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC
- Sunday, Nov. 29 at 12:23 pm: Shell Gas located at 6519 Arlington Boulevard, Falls Church
- Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 01:34 pm: Shell Gas located at 805 E. Parham Road, Richmond
- Friday, Dec. 4 at 08:59 pm: BP Gas located at 6701 Wilson Boulevard, Falls Church
