Grant Award from The Closet of the Greater Herndon Area, Inc.

Assistance League of Northern Virginia would like to thank the Board of Directors of The Closet of the Greater Herndon Area, Inc., for its grant award of more than $2,100 to help fund our New Clothing for Kids program. The funds will be used to purchase a year’s worth of new clothing and shoes for children most in need at two partner schools in Fairfax County. Assistance League of Northern Virginia and the recipient schools are grateful for this award from The Closet, a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to assist residents of the Greater Herndon Area facing economic and social challenges in living in Northern Virginia.
