Guns Stolen From Vienna Store: Police

Police say several guns were stolen from a Vienna store during a recent night.

VIENNA, VA—The owner of a Vienna gun store discovered a thief entered the store and stole guns, police say.

The robbery took place Saturday, Oct. 14 between 11:30 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. at Old Glory Firearms (235 Mill Street NE). The store closed at 5 p.m. that day.

It was unclear if police have surveillance footage or leads on suspects. Police are continuing to investigate.

The store’s website notes that the store sells and has in stock handguns, shotguns, Glock pistols, semi-automatic rifles, knives and more. It opened in 2015.

Between October 12 5:00 p.m. and October 14 11:30 a.m.

A resident reported that someone stole construction materials from his driveway.

Shoplifting 17-9336

October 13 between 6:00 p.m. and 6:20 p.m.
An employee reported that an unknown man stole an item from their business.

Arrest – Driving While Intoxicated / Refusal 17-9292
Nutley Street SW / Kingsley Road SW
October 15 1:29 a.m.

Officer Reedy observed a vehicle committing several traffic violations and initiated a traffic stop
on the vehicle. Upon his interactions with the driver, Officer Reedy detected signs of possible
impairment. After the driver failed all sobriety tests he was placed under arrest. Officer Reedy
transported the 26-year-old man from Seminary Road in Alexandria to the Fairfax County Adult
Detention Center. The magistrate issued three warrants (DWI, Open Container and Refusal). An
unsecured bond for $2,000.00 was set.

500 Beulah Road NE
Between October 17 4:00 p.m. and October 18 8:00 a.m.

A resident reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole some items.

Accident 17-009427
Courthouse Road SW / Ware Street SW
October 19 1:52 p.m.

Driver-2 (Bicyclist) was traveling northbound on courthouse road and entered the intersection
with Ware Street SW. Driver-1 was traveling Southbound on Courthouse Road SW and
attempted to make a left turn onto Ware Street SW.
As Driver-1 entered into his turn he collided with Driver-2 who had the right of way in the
intersection.
Driver-2 (Bicyclist) showed visible bruising on his right inner ankle. He refused treatment.
Driver-1 was issued a summons for failure to yield the right of way.
