Here Are The Coronavirus Cases By ZIP Code In Vienna
Vienna area ZIP codes are not among the top places for cases in Fairfax County, according to new Virginia Department of Health data.
VIENNA, VA — New data from the Virginia Department of Health shows cases of the new coronavirus and testing totals for Vienna ZIP codes and others around the state.
The 22180 ZIP code, which is largely comprised of the Town of Vienna, has 54 cases among 407 tests completed. The 22182 ZIP code, covering the Wolf Trap area and a portion of Tysons, has 49 cases and 394 tests. In the 22027 ZIP code, a portion of Dunn Loring, there have been 39 cases and 58 tests completed. The 22181 ZIP code has 20 cases and 210 cases completed, and Oakton's 22124 ZIP code has 28 cases and 236 tests.
Other areas of Fairfax County appear to be hit harder by the virus than Vienna, according to ZIP code case data. The 22003 ZIP code in Annandale has 481 cases among 1,352 tested, while Springfield's 22150 has 374 cases and 881 tested. The combined Groveton and Hybla Valley communities have 329 cases among 885 tested, and the combined Bailey's Crossroads and Lake Barcroft communities have 315 cases and 736 tests completed.

Fairfax County leads Virginia localities with 5,338 cases overall, as of Friday. There have been 227 deaths among new coronavirus cases in the county.

- 22003, Annandale (Fairfax County): 481 cases, 1,352 tested
- 20110, Manassas/Prince William County: 405 cases, 1,050 tested
- 22801, Harrisonburg/Rockingham County: 394 cases, 748 tested
- 20109, Prince William County: 387 cases, 938 tested
- 22150, Springfield (Fairfax County): 374 cases, 881 tested
- 22305, Alexandria: 330 cases, 608 tested
- 22306, Groveton/Hybla Valley (Fairfax County): 329 cases, 885 tested
The zip code information includes case numbers and number tested but not deaths or hospitalizations. Residents can look at data by zip code, locality and health district.
The health department noted a few limits to the zip code data. Locality data is being reported to the state for all cases, but zip code information is not reported for 432 of the total 22,342 cases as of Friday.
Out-of-state residents tested in Virginia are not counted in zip code data but are reflected in the state's overall testing data. For privacy reasons, zip codes with case counts between one and four cases are listed as "suppressed."
