Holiday Lights, Ice Skating, Flea Market: Weekend Events In NoVA, DC

This weekend brings the last Commanders game of the season, the last weekend for some holiday lights and more. See things to do around NoVA.

VIRGINIA — After the holiday season, events are starting to slow down. You can still find things to do this weekend around Northern Virginia and DC, from sports to holiday lights and ice skating.

It's the last weekend for some holiday lights attractions like Meadowlark Winter Walk on Lights in Vienna and Bull Run Festival of Lights in Centreville. The Winter Lantern Festival, Georgetown GLOW and Bull Run Festival of Lights remain open in the coming days. Even when holiday lights attractions are ending, ice skating will continue through the winter at locations like Reston Town Center, Washington Harbour in Georgetown and Sculpture Garden near the National Mall.

In the sports world, the Washington Commanders have their last game of the season vs. the Dallas Cowboys, and the Washington Capitals play two home games. Other notable events include Super Magfest, Jurassic Quest, The DC Big Flea and The Northern VA Greater Virginia Bridal Show.
