VIENNA, VA — Vienna police and kids will face off for bragging rights as the Vienna Police Department's Cops & Kids Fun Run returns in 2022.
This year's event is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Vienna Elementary School, 128 Center Street S, Vienna, VA. The estimated start time for the race is 12 p.m. Registration is free for children to participate.
The Fun run began in the 1990s but was replaced by other community outreach programs. Police Chief Jim Morris brought back the event in 2016, and the event has grown in the following years. The event was not held in the past two years.
