Labor Day weekend features the DC Magic Festival, free National Symphony Orchestra concert, opening of a fall festival and more.
WASHINGTON, DC — Labor Day weekend is approaching, and there are plenty of ways to celebrate the unofficial end of summer.
If you're staying in town, there's plenty to do in the Northern Virginia and DC region. DC will host the National Book Festival, DC JazzFest at the Wharf, DC Magic Festival, Capital House Music Festival, DC Black Food & Wine Festival and free National Symphony Orchestra Labor Day Concert.
There are other holiday weekend events in Northern Virginia such as the Labor Day Car Show, Middle Eastern Food Festival and LoCo Fest. If you're eager for fall activities to begin, the Corn Maze & Apple Harvest opens at Great Country Farms.
