At the mid-point of the James Madison boys' lacrosse season, the Warhawks stand 4-4 after two road games this week, losing to former Liberty Conference foe, Yorktown Patriots, and beating the reigning Cedar Run District champions, Patriot Pioneers.

After falling behind 6-4 at the end of the third quarter to Yorktown, Madison responded with three goals in the early part of the fourth quarter, aided by Brett Hanton’s (#3 pictured above) go-ahead, unassisted goal, from his LSM position. Yorktown then answered with two quick goals inside four minutes to play to secure the 8-7 victory on their home turf. For Madison, seniors Greg Waldron and Peter Webb each scored two goals and Waldron added two assists in the contest.

Senior Peter Webb scored three goals in the contest to lead all scorers.
