Man Lived In Shed At Vienna Home: Police
A woman found signs that someone was living in her shed and more in Vienna's weekly crime report.

VIENNA, VA -- A Vienna woman had hired a man a few months ago to do house work, but little did she know he would end up crashing in her shed.
The woman residing at the 900 block of Timber Lane SW reported evidence of someone living in her shed to Vienna Police Sunday, April 30. She suspected it was the man she hired months ago.
On May 3 the man was found at the house and told to leave the property. The man left without charges but was told he will be charged with trespassing if he returns to the property.

April 27 10:05 p.m.
On May 3 a citizen came to the Police Station to report an accident involving his elderly father that had occurred on April 27. The man advised his father was attempting to turn his scooter around behind the bleachers at the ballpark when the scooter went over the edge of the pavement, down an embankment and landed on top of his father.
His father initially refused rescue, but when he returned home it was determined that medical attention was necessary. He was transported to an area hospital by rescue personnel where he remains in the Intensive Care Unit.

Between April 17 12:00 a.m. and April 27 at 3:57 p.m.
A resident was the victim of a scam when he purchased iTunes cards and provided the card numbers to a man over the phone who offered to provide on-line support with his computer.
This case is being investigated.
Domestic Dispute 17-003808
John Marshall Drive, NE
April 28 8:37 p.m.
A resident called advising she had an argument with her husband over the phone. She was afraid
the argument may escalate when the husband returned home. When the husband returned to the
house the officers spoke with him and all parties agreed it would be best for him to spend the
night elsewhere to allow them time to calm down.
Arrest – Driving While Intoxicated / Narcotics / Alcohol Violation 17-003821
Lawyers Road and Abbotsford Drive
April 29 3:21 a.m.
PFC Reedy observed a driver commit a series of traffic offenses and initiated a traffic stop.
Upon his interaction with the driver he detected signs of impairment and the odor of marijuana.
After the driver failed a series of field sobriety tests PFC Reedy placed him under arrest.
Officers located a measurable amount of marijuana and a cup containing alcohol in the vehicle.
PFC Reedy transported the 27-year-old man from Girard Street, NE in Washington, DC to the
Vienna Police Station where he was offered the opportunity to provide a sample of his breath for
analysis, which he refused.
The driver was then transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was
charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of an
Open Container While Driving.
Cottage Street and Battle Street, SW
May 3 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:32 a.m.
A citizen advised a man was mowing along the curb on a lawn tractor at the intersection as she
was driving northbound on Cottage Street. As she passed the tractor she heard something hit the
side of her car. She observed two dents in the side of her vehicle and went back to obtain the
tractor driver’s information for repairs. The man became angry with the citizen and drove off.
Officers were unable to locate the man.
Suspicious Person 17-003978

May 3 between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
An employee advised a woman came in for an appointment and was acting suspicious. During
the appointment another woman entered the salon and gave the first woman a large amount of
cash. The employees were concerned what type of transaction had occurred and were seeking
guidance in trespassing the customer from their business.
