Man Pointed Metal Object At Elementary Students In Vienna: Police
A man charged in relation to an incident at Cunningham Park Elementary School has an indecent exposure warrant in Alexandria, police say.

VIENNA, VA — A man has been charged after allegedly pointing a metal object at students at Cunningham Park Elementary School Tuesday, Vienna Police say.
Around 12:51 p.m., police responded to Cunningham Park Elementary School for a suspicious person report. One report suggested a shirtless man was potentially pointing a long gun or toy gun at students. Police confirmed from witnesses the suspect was pointing a metal object and that a gun was not involved. The suspect was seen fleeing to Cedar Lane.
Officers continued the search for the suspect. He was found when officers responded to the Vienna Town Green when a suspect matching his description was bathing in the water fountain.

William Holland, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with drunk in public and brandishing within 1000 feet of a school. He was also trespassed from all Fairfax County Public Schools. Police found no weapons on the suspect.
A fingerprint search revealed the suspect had an indecent exposure warrant under a different name (Mike Astor) in Alexandria on Aug. 10. A failure to appear in court charge was added on Aug. 17, according to court records.

He is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Court documents show he will have a preliminary hearing in Fairfax County court related to the Vienna incident on Oct. 24.
