Maple Avenue Market: Supplying Local Produce to School Cafeterias

VIENNA, VA -- Maple Avenue Market Farm, located in northern Fairfax County, is the first...and currently the only local farm working directly with Arlington County Public Schools as well as Fairfax County Public School’s Marshall High School to grow fresh local produce for its students.

The farm has also partnered with Discovery Woods Learning Community in McLean to grow and source ingredients for its students.

In addition, the farm’s produce is sold at the Maple Avenue Market, in Vienna, owned by farmers Chris and Sara Guerre. The two are passionate about using organic growing methods on the farm and passionate about hands-on agricultural and social innovation.
