MAY 7: PRS' Raising the Stakes Kentucky Derby Event Supports Mental Illness Recovery Efforts in Region

Get ready to don your derby hat. PRS, Inc., a nonprofit helping those living with serious mental illness or facing life crises, is hosting its Kentucky Derby tradition: Raising the Stakes for Hope & Recovery at the Tower Club on May 7th . The venue features a spectacular view of the region for guests watching the 142nd Run for the Roses as well as a grand live and silent auction, hors d’ oeuvres, mint juleps and more.
The event will support PRS’ work that helps individuals and families affected by mental illness in the DC and Northern Virginia region recover their lives. PRS is a leading local nonprofit helping those living with serious mental health issues and anyone who faces life crises achieve independence and self-sufficiency. Operating in Northern Virginia and DC, PRS provides clients with skill training and support to help them recover and rebuild their lives through programs such as: Recovery Academy Day Programs, Community Support Services, Employment Services, Community Housing, and CrisisLink—a 24/7 phone and text hotline.
