Mover Steals From Vienna Home: Police
A resident noticed a mover acting suspiciously before finding jewelry was stolen.

VIENNA, VA—Vienna Police made an arrest after a mover allegedly stole from a home on Dec. 6.
A moving crew was helping move items into one room of a home in the 700 block of Hillcrest Drive SW between 12:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. The resident believed one of the movers had been acting suspiciously. After the moving crew left, the resident found jewelry missing from the home.
Police obtained a search warrant and a warrant for arrest for the mover on Dec. 12. The suspect, a 23-year-old man from Ashburn, was arrested and charged with grand larceny. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Suspicious Vehicle 18-010023

December 5 3:30 p.m.
A resident reported that her daughter had observed a suspicious vehicle in the area the prior day. The daughter advised her mother that she observed the driver slowly pass her residence and believed he took pictures of their house.

Arrest – Forgery 18-010080
Suntrust Bank
501 Maple Avenue, West
December 7 5:00 p.m.
Bank employees reported a woman in the bank attempting to commit a fraudulent transaction. Officers responded, verified that the woman was using a false identification in an attempt to cash a fraudulent check.
Sgt. Sheeran arrested the 70-year-old woman from 1st Avenue in New York, New York. She was
transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where she was charged with felony Forgery and Uttering and misdemeanor Possession of False Identification.
