VIENNA, VA — The town is slated to get a new Lebanese dining option at the Vienna Shopping Center.

El Janna, a family-owned traditional Lebanese restaurant, will open its first location at Vienna Shopping Center, the former location of Chopt (160 Maple Ave. W). The opening is expected in the fall.

"I am thrilled to bring El [Janna] to the Vienna community," said Chris Pamboukian, Rappaport's senior director of brokerage, who represented El Janna in the lease. "I think this restaurant will be great for the area and fill a demand for elegant Lebanese dining options."

"I come from a village in Lebanon called Dfoun. I have had years of experience working in the culinary discipline and previously owned a restaurant in Arlington," said Ab-Aad in a statement. "I am excited for the opportunity to share my culture and cuisine with the Vienna area."
