• Navy FCU Reaches Settlement in Class Action Over Alleged Failure to Stop Third Parties From Opening Loans in Members' Names (thecudaily.com) — Vienna-based Navy Federal Credit Union has agreed to a proposed class-action settlement over allegedly failing to stop scammers from opening personal loans in members' names, and some local members may qualify. Covered borrowers could see their disputed loans canceled, credit reporting cleaned up, and receive reimbursements plus a $250 payment if they submit a claim by late November.

State regulators have approved a remediation plan that bans groundwater use, restricts future residential or recreational development, and requires ongoing vapor control systems and protections during any redevelopment.
